Delivery & Installation

There is a minimum spend of $165 to qualify for free installation for your booking. If your hire does not reach the minimum spend, the items will need to be operated as DRY Hire and will be picked up and dropped off after your event. Please note that only a selected range can be DRY hire.

Complimentary delivery for all local locations within 20km of Lux Events NQ.

Locations need to be set for bookings or discussed as we have certain locations we do not supply for/ have limited hire supply for due to not enough time allocated for installs depending on size of booking or policies of the venue or access. Including locations out of our local area which we then need to ensure we have enough availability in our schedule to fulfil the booking.

Do you supply Balloon Garlands

No. We do not supply balloons of any kind through our business. We do work closely with balloon stylists and happy to recommend a local balloon stylist for your event.

Delivery & Pick up fees

Delivery 20km+ start at $60 please contact us with your location of your event to receive a accurate quote.

We have a complimentary next day/business day pick ups. If your venue/location requires same night pack down there will be an additional fees starting at $165 for collections after hours. Same night collections need to be confirmed to make sure we have the availability.

Please note events held in Flinders Street where the roads are blocked off for the Sunday markets will not be able to select Next Day pick up unless your venue allows Monday collection and collection times are restricted with no midnight pack down option.

Extras Items

For our extra items we have within our business eg, Fringes, Disco Balls, Florals – they are all items as a add on to our bookings and cannot be hired separately. We also have stack stands for our light up letters that start from an additional $60. For any of our extras please contact us for more details.

Do you deliver outside of Townsville?

Yes! We are definitely able to chat about out of town events depending on location, however we do have a minimum spend due to travel and time. Contact us for more details and a personalised quote. 

Are the Letter Lights/Neon signs waterproof?

Our LED hire can be set up indoors and outdoors and can handle light shower conditions. All outdoor events need to have an undercover alternative if rain is a possibility. If weather conditions look like possible rain then the set up must be undercover. If it starts to rain during your event all stock must be taken undercover.

This is a rule for all our hire to always remove from the wet conditions as we take pride in our high end inventory and always want our stock looking its best.

How long is hire time?

We are flexible with 24hr hire. All hire is discussed and is preferred with next day collection or next business day.

If you are wanting an extended hire period time, please contact us for a personalised quote. 2 day hire will have a charge of 50% of the hired items for the extended hire.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, at least a 25% non-refundable deposit is needed to secure your booking. No payment may result in missing out on your hire. Full payment is due no later then a week before your event.
